Coffee at 6:30, attempted to rouse Ellie at 6:50, 7, 7:10; finally got her up at 7:20, LOL. Packed up and headed to the Ferry at 7:30. Checked in, boarded, we had a nice center spot on the lower deck. Roamed the ship looking at views, beautiful day. Said goodbye to Ellie and Jim, disembarked the ferry, headed to Burnaby Cariboo RV Park. Had a fairly tight spot between some hedges, set things up, was very hot, 90º. Rick went off on his e-bike to explore the area's buildings.
Randy dealt with the campground's aging electrical system that kept popping circuit breakers in the heat. Finally got things sorted by tapping power from an adjacent site and moving all of our non-A/C items to battery/inverter. Rick came back around 4. Around 6:30 we took an Uber in to Vancouver for dinner at Alouette. Saw some pretty striking homelessness on the route in to the city, went on for blocks and blocks. The restaurant was really nice, Rick got his foie gras and we both had salads and wine. Took another Uber back to the campground and then it was time for bed.

Slept in until 7:30, then had coffee and breakfast before pulling out a second e-bike and riding over to the metro station. We took two trains in to downtown, then started riding around and enjoying the fun architecture. Lots of new buildings since the last time we were here. Discovered a great sushi place: Hello Nori. Sat at a counter and had delicious hand rolls made for us. We each had 6 and loved them! Rick continued his architecture hunt, Randy took the metro back to the campground. Rick toured around Vancouver, Randy worked on HomeKit stuff back at the RV. For dinner we foraged in the fridge and watched trash TV.

Coffee and breakfast, then Rick took an e-bike to the university while Randy did more HomeKit work in the RV. Rick came back around lunch time. Relaxed for the afternoon.
Around 5:30 we took an Uber to Brentwood to check out another Hello Nori. Had more hand rolls and sashimi, so tasty. Cute young waiter took a shine to us, talked about wanting to move to Hong Kong. Walked around the mall area, then caught a metro train back to Burnaby and walked to the campground. Some TV, then bed.
