Vancouver Island

After breakfast we did 7:30 & 8:30 workouts with Mickey, then packed up the RV. Headed south, crossed the border at the Pacific Highway Port of Entry. Stopped at Haggan in Bellingham for a few groceries, then continued south to Jim & Katie's. Parked the RV at their neighbor David's (Thanks David!). Did a bit of tree trimming around the top of the RV. Spent the afternoon at the house, Fred & Katie and Sam & Megan came by for dinner which we had on the back porch. Weather was really nice. After sunset we headed back to the RV for sleep.

Did coffee and oatmeal in the RV. Rick took an e-bike and headed down to the University of Washington for photos. Randy gave Jake and Ellie (and Jim) a lesson on the 3D printer that we were leaving with them. Drove down to the water and boarded the boat. Toured around Lake Union for a bit, then motored out to Lake Washington where most of us jumped in the water and horsed around with the kids. Megan made delicious marguerites. Fred had a great time captaining the boat. Afterwards we headed back to the house and ordered Chinese and Thai food for dinner. After sunset Randy headed back to the RV; Rick joined a bit later.

After breakfast Randy designed some parts to mount the StarLink panel on the boat. Showed the kids how to start a print. Rick and Jim went with Sam & Megan to downtown Seattle to tour some condo buildings. They saw some nice units in buildings with great amenity floors. Randy walked with Katie and Jake over to an art fair a couple of blocks away. Walked for some coffee and crepes, then back to the house. Worked on more 3D printing with Jake. Drove to the mall for some cupcakes and pizza dough for dinner. At the house Katie made delicious pizzas which we ate on their back deck. Headed back to the RV for a bit of TV and bed.

Woke up early, had breakfast. Randy started a print to make replacement upper bunk clips. Did workouts with Mickey at 7:30 & 8:30. Packed up the RV, said goodbye to everyone. Drove south to Burien to see Fred & Katie. Parked at their friend Marty's house at the top of the hill. Expanded the RV, then went down to Fred & Katie's. Planned to show their friend's the RV at 8:45 the next morning. Katie made lunch then we drove over to Lincoln Park for a walk along the water. Late afternoon we called an Uber which took us to Pier 70 in Seattle; had a very fun and knowledgeable driver on the way. Walked down to Pike Place, had dinner at Maximillian's, a nice French restaurant with an outdoor deck. Had a great meal, then walked further south along the waterfront. Called an Uber back to the house. As we passed the RV we saw a group of people standing in the yard next to it - turns out there was confusion about when the RV tour would happen, they had shows up at 8:45pm! We drove back up to the RV, expanded it, then showed everyone the inside. Lots of fun. Then it was time to say goodbye and head to bed.
